Lilly beats forecasts as Mounjaro, Zepbound drive 48% revenue surge Lilly beats forecasts as Mounjaro, Zepbound drive 48% revenue surge Pharmaceutical 6 August 2026 US pharma major Eli Lilly NYSE: LLY reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $23 billion, up 48% year-on-year from $15.6 billion in the second quarter of 2025 and well ahead of Wall Street forecasts of around $20.7 billion.
Reported earnings per share EPS came in at $7.94, up 26%, while non-generally agreed accounting principles GAAP EPS reached $8.38, up 33% and comfortably beating analyst consensus estimates of roughly $6.50-6.60.
Shares rose approximately 3% in the immediate aftermath of the results.
